The fender lights on my 1981 pickup weren't working. As I am attempting to do a full restoration, I needed to fix that! When I pulled the orange lens off to see where the light was, all of the plastic under it crumbled. I found the light hanging down in the fender.

And it still works (it was shining under the vehicle):

I ordered some new ones off of eBay from here. Part numbers 81740-14110, 81730-14110, 8174014110, 8173014110 (OEM);
TO2550103, TO2551103, 116-58747BL, 116-58747BR (interchange?).

They came with:
  • Complete assembly (with screws) for passenger side and driver side
  • Little plastic bits that fit into the fender (I didn't use these as mine were fine)
The connectors fit snugly and clipped right into the existing (square) connector.

Here are pictures of them on the truck:

There have been a few light rains since they were installed and so far the lights have kept working. So far they appear to be fine. Shine brightly at night (enough that you can see them shine on a wall 3-4 feet away). Screwed right in where the old ones were.

One step closer to getting the truck restored!
