what do you mean by backprobing?? As in tracing the wire back to where it goes I take it. If so why do this with the truck running?? And where should the right wire lead to from the maf???

No, backprobing means you stick the multimeter probe into the back of the connector (or through the shielding if that is not possible) and see what the voltage is while it is connected.

There will not be any voltage on the output wires unless it is plugged in and the truck is on.

DUHHH!!!! I dont know what I was thinking. Of course it would not read right if its not pluged in. Aight man ill do that.

Ok im fixin to order some plugs. I cant find a website that will let me specify the make and model of the truck for the denso ik22's. The websites that do let me specify the truck only offer the denso ik16's.

I need the IK22's correct??? And, if so, are you 100% sure they will fit?? Im just makin sure cause I hate to spend 60 bucks on plugs and they be the wrong ones... Thanks!!

Yes, they will fit. The reason those websites don't show them is they are too cold for a stock truck, the stock plugs should be something like an IK16. But you want a colder plug for a supercharged truck.

bump.... old thread, but anyone find a good place to buy the IK22's cheaper? can't find much other than $10.99 off of URD's site which isn't terrible but hoping to do better.

I've got 35K on mine now, want to change them out before too long although I'm still running great on a VERY old tune... (thanks methanol)

somehow this thread eluded me until today, agh!
