Interior Door Panel

I am looking at replacing the material on inside of doors, getting dirty and ungluiing from panel. I removed the panel and on the backside there is what looks like plastic rivets holding the pieces together. Is there a way to remove these and then how do i put them back on. They look like melted plastic done from factory.

In case you want to simplify fasteners and make it easier to remove and re-install inner door panels in the future, here's how I replaced my door panel covering and fasteners:

AAH! You have a newer model. Sorry, I thought you had an older model.

This looks promising and makes sense:

You could also use an epoxy to re-create the original plastic rivet if you wanted but some correct length screws should work depending on how deep the hole is.

That looks like it would work, i would be afraid with the age the plastic might crack putting screws in. But i could always heat up screw first and kind of melt its way i. making threads. Thanks

Maybe the parts are still available. Check out the link below. You can change the year/model/frame code/char by clicking in the boxes near the top. If you click on a 5 digit code a popup will give you the 10 digit part #.

For example 67772E is part # 67772-16020 and is still available.

Part # 67772-16020 is still available. It's showing a price on my local toyota parts site so that means it's still available.
