Hello all, I am new to the forum here and I have something that has me stumped. I have a 1982 4x4 with a 22r, running a weber 38/38 carburetor. Recently it has developed an intermittent miss that comes and goes, it is most apparent on acceleration and higher RPM. I though maybe it was crappy gas but that was 3 full tanks ago. The engine has less than 35k miles on it I am also running a 255 cam and just did a valve adjustment, new cap, and rotor. The spark plugs and wires have less than 15k on them and the weber carb is only 4 years old. The distributor was replaced and timing set a few months ago because the vacuum advance went out on the old one. The fuel pump was replaced 3 years ago along with the fule lines all the way back to the tank, I also dropped the tank and cleaned inside when this was done, fuel filter is new as well. Only thing I haven't done is rebuild the carburetor or replace the original factory ignition coil, I just wanted to see if anyone else has run into a similar problem that had some advice.
Thanks for any help.
