so, im selling my 86 4x4 extra cab. 22r...

its mechanically solid, but needs little stuff/ stereo, passenger door lock, center console, no carpeting, bed has rust on it..etc..but other wise i think its worth 3k (am i right ?)

and
i get tons of trade offers..for motorcycles and pos cars.
2 bikes i like, but none with a title...(should i even consider that) and both say i can get one, and both are willing to sign w/a notary...so, should i keep the faith..?

great seats
air horn.
bad tires (old)
no carpet
passenger key has a bolt instead of a keyhole
no stereo or center console...

the bike in question

I dislike most motorcycles, they're loud, annoying, and you can't carry anything around. I'd keep the truck.

the 2cnd truck is for sale, as i own 2 of these rigs...(keeping the 88 sr5 w/sunroof/ c.c./ pwrwindows/ A/C/ etc._)
selling the 86, 22r...

i own 2 toy/4x4s' (both extra cabs) and a bmw cabrio...so, really i can only drive 1 at a time anyways..

i would tell them to go to the motor vehical department and get a duplicate title its easyer for them to do it than it is for you to obtain the title, you can also call the cops and ask them to run the vin numbers to insure that it is not stolen.

I have two bikes and I wouldnt trade that truck for any of those. Reason being with no title you cant green sticker it and its pointless to have. If you get caught without it registered they take it. I would sell the truck out right and then put money towards a bike that you can get registered. If you live out in the sticks and dont plan on ever going to any off-road parks then go ahead. But I know the places I go (and thats about 10 different parks) they look at your bike to make sure its green stickered. Just my 2 cents take it for what its worth.

thanks everyone...yes..the green sticker...i remember when it was free, (80's) and they incorperated that nationwide, and at border crossings..its a loose law, but it can bite...

and ezrider, thanks, but no thanks..i would only ride a trail bike, as i am terrified of our local drivers..i used to ride (a ninja) back in teh day, but was hit by my g.f. (long story)...

i will have to get them to get the title..thanks for the headsup..
they all claim its easy w/a notary, signed document, but why should i suffer, i own my title and they dont.

Hit by your g/f?! Holy geez. That must have been tad awkward.

Get the owner to get a title, if your heart's set on that bike.
