Olharleyman ~ What kind of sliders are you running? How do you like the TRD limited slip diff?

looks nice! i want to take mine off but i carpool with my mom and she already has a hard time getting in

Are those what "sliders" are?, what Olharleyman's pics show?

GM TURBO 03-20-2007 08:33 AM

I have the same problem with sliders as I do running boards. I'm tall enough to get in without - so I don't use 'em. When I had running boards - I'd use try to use them and whack my head.

It is okay in the summer - but winter sucks. I step down - brush my leg against them and get my pants dirty.

Since I took mine off I have a rule - no short people.

Yep. I'm actually kind of curious as to which company's sliders they are, since I like the angle of attack... Not to mention where Olharleyman's light bar on the bumper came from...

Yes those are Sliders!

The angle of the sliders can be determined with any set of sliders you buy. When you set how far out you want them to stick from the body you also set the angle of the slider itself. You can only do so much or else you wont be able to open your doors. lol.

looks way better without the running boards, I'm actually going to pull those blasted things off my self. just wait for the weather to warm up.
can't wait!!!!

just took mine off this weekend, the truck looks a lot meaner. after taking them off people kept asking what i changed, if i lifted it, etc. now if i could only do something about that low gas tank.

91ToyTrck 03-21-2007 07:55 PM

4crawler can help you out with that aspect, but you have to add a body lift to your 4runner.

WAB FAB for the sliders and 15 degrees up with a angleometer. I really love the TRD Limited Slip works great can't say it works as good , is better then or equal to a soft locker never had one but I know that I can get into a lot more places with it then I could with an open diff
