Need some inspiration for a cargo area box?

So fed up with my tool box, sub, spare parts, ect. ect. sliding around the cargo area of my truck. I want to build a nice clean cargo oranizer like I've seen so many of my wheeling buddies with, and since many of them live further away than I'm willing to drive just for ideas I'm asking yall to help me out.

Please post up links or pics of your cargo area organizers. I'm looking for a way to intigrate drawers, compartments and ultimately hide my sub as well, while maintaining that clean, almost stock look. I'm sure this thread will benefit others if we can culminate a variety of ideas and pictures in one place.

Thanks in advance. :bigclap:

Dimensions in the last two pics in this folder.

Box was built for the '91 4Runner, is as well at home in the FJ as it was in the old rig.

The holes in the top of the drawers with the pins was member mytruck's idea.
Whenever I accelerated from a stop in the old rig, the drawers would open and hit the inside of the tailgate in the 4Runner.
He installed the pins for me.

Box was built by a Boeing carpenter.

Been working on mine a bit, very simple and not nearly as nice as Corey's (those are beaustiful BTW), but it works and was cheap to build. Have to finish it still, but trying to decide between painting, carpet or herculining.

Basic dimensions are 39 x 39-inches, 9-inches tall. Two drawers, one for recovery gear/tools and the other for camera gear (work stuff) and foul-weather clothing/blankets etc ..

I plan to organize it better when time allows (was going to do some today, but, alas, it is raining out.)

I will take the fridge sir!
Just read a write-up on it in the new Toyota 4WD Owner magazine.

I used the "single large drawer" system with flip-up storage flaps on both sides and one on the front. The front is angled to match the slope of the back seats in the up position. I also have a matching sleeping platform with storage that fits on the folded rear seats. I'm installing it for an overnight 4wheeling trip this weekend so I can snap a few pictures of it at that time.
