4Crawler Panhard drop

Does he sell em? After putting on my OME 901's Strap22 informed me on the phone to look at the offset of my rear wheels where they stick out on the passenger side more than the drivers now. I gotta complex...I know its cosmetic but I'm a very meticulous person when it comes to things being off...don't ask me why. I have saw all the other panhard drop brackets but they accomodate 3" or more. I know he is a custom kinda dude...and good at what he does.

I'd be interested in one as well. Roger, what's the word. Or, who else fabs them up on here?

yotaman 05-17-2005 08:37 AM

You can get them from Downey for $40.00 (1.5" drop).

callmej75 05-17-2005 08:42 AM

Thats the weld on ones isn't it?

Robinhood150 05-17-2005 08:52 AM

Nope, bolt on.

4Crawler 05-17-2005 01:19 PM

Don't make one at the present time.

callmej75 05-17-2005 01:25 PM

Thanks Rog...Downey it is. Appreciate it Greg!

yotaman 05-17-2005 07:49 PM

No problem. I have one on my rig. Spray WD40 on the bolt a few times before you install the drop.

yotaman 05-17-2005 07:49 PM

If you have any questions about the install let me know.

If you haven't found it already, here's a thread about removing the panhard.

I hope so too!! Its a b!tch to remove if it is. Actually its not that bad, just take your time and make sure you have adequate ventilation when you burn out the old bushing so you don't stink up your house.

I need to post the pics and final write up on that thread. Thanks for the link Robinhood.

OMG you lost one of your nuts   :P You must be talking about the side the connects to the axle. That bushing is in 2 pieces. Its the other one that is the pain in the :moon: to take off. Good luck. :great:
