Toyota CT-26?

highdezman 06-20-2005 08:58 PM

yes I bought it off ebay

OldSchoolSupra 06-20-2005 09:02 PM

haha nice... im a Supra owner, thats why i noticed that... have any details on the install? stats on your manifold, fuel, engine management etc?

highdezman 06-20-2005 09:07 PM

I made every thing myself It does not use any custom manifold and the fuel ecu is a urd ftc, and im going to install larger injectors and higher flow fuel pump. It took about a week to do and i have an intercooler below and in front of the truck.

OldSchoolSupra 06-20-2005 09:11 PM

Does NOT use any custom manifold? Mind a further explanation? :)

That's awesome regardless.. hrm... i have an old CT, might be fun to fab onto the 22r haha

Corbit 06-20-2005 09:17 PM

How much boost can you push ? Are you still on the stock fuel map ?

highdezman 06-20-2005 09:29 PM

I made a platform for the turbo to sit on than ran the exhaust to it, and im currently editing the fuel map on my ftc ecu. I max out on cold nights at 10 psi.

DudeBud 06-21-2005 12:34 AM

sweet got any pics

Bumpin' Yota 06-21-2005 05:40 AM

how is the ct 26 working for you? At what rpm level do you start building boost and at what rpm are you into full boost by? Lastly near redline, does the boost fall off at all?

Sound's familiar ?

Good going "highdezman", waiting for some pics :cam: on that.

Pics man, for the sake of all that's good and decent, post some pics. It's just not right to make all of us wait in anticipation of how this looks.

Then get it to the dyno or the strip so we can see some performance numbers.

Gotta give you some props for pulling this off. Especially in a week. Amazing, simply amazing.

X-AWDriver 06-21-2005 11:55 AM

Yes,close up pics of the turbo/exhaust connection if you want to call it that instead. ;)

highdezman 06-21-2005 07:30 PM

The first thread has a picture of my engine I dont have any others yet, Boost starts around 2200 and builds to full boost around 3300 to 3500 and it does not fall off at high rpm it just keeps pullin, Im still working with the fuel system and With no cooperation from urd it is taking some time but im getting closer. Im putting in a larger fuel pump and injectors next week sometime. :great:

highdezman 06-21-2005 07:33 PM

I cant take a pic of the turbo platform as it would require dissasembling the system to see it. Ill do the best i can soon.

highdezman 06-21-2005 07:44 PM

Ok here is another pic not pretty but what did you expect for a 500 dollar budget.http://usera.imagecave.com/highdezman/HPIM1348-copy.jpg

AgRunner06 06-21-2005 08:46 PM

Dude, that is kickass. Please follow with more details.

Awesome job.

:bigok:

Now that's working it, "highdez", and is what I'm talking about, but with a 2nd. gen V6...Look out.
Great install, you'll scare alot with that hookup, especially once you get it "tuned in".

rimpainter.com 06-22-2005 11:19 AM

I am confused...are you running the turbo off one bank? Or did you completely re-plumb the exhaust crossover to "collect" at the turbo?

Good idea on the fuel pump. I bet you are running crazy lean at a sustained 10psi.

highdezman 06-24-2005 06:10 AM

the down pipe was redirected to the turbo and the clamp you see, is in the event i need to replace the starter i can pull the header pipe down for easy access. Ill folow up more after5 i get my fuel pump in possibly this weekend. :)
