What about automatic lockers?
Hi,
I've been watching automatic lockers like Detroit or Lock Right. That are quite cheap than and ARB or similar. I think that the basical difference is that you cannot disconnect them, but, mechanically is there any problem with that lockers? Thanks, David PD: Excuse me for my poor English... |
Read it please, I'm full of doubts :(

There's a lot of information on the reider racing site about the various kinds of differentials and how they work. www.reiderracing.com
But, the Detroit Locker is the standard by which all others are judged. Strong, reliable and durable. It is a ratchet type locker - always locked but releases when turning sharply on a surface where traction is good. The lock rite is not in the same class. It's an inexpensive kit to adapt your diff into a speudo-locker. It's clunky, noisy, and doesn't last very long. But it's cheap. |
Thank you PoBoy and Flamed :)
Now I have homework, reading a lot! :D I'm earning money to do my next mods (4cm lift, and custom bumpers front and rear), and next, more money, a locker :con: Thank u, David |
