Rear anit-lock breaks???
Hey guys ive got a '95 Runner that just yesterday my rear anti lock brake light came on and wont go off! Has anyone lese here had this problem? I have about 150,000 miles on the truck and have had no brake problems what should i look for or where should i begin?:bang:

maybe a sensor wire got clipped or fried. I'd start there right at the wheel and work your way toward the front. Then I might pull the sensors and clean them and reinstall them in the axle tube. If they are like mine they are held in by one 10mm screw and the compression of an oring. just take out the screw and use a flat head screwdriver to pry it out. clean the grease off of it, clean the oring and regrease it and put it back in. If that doesn't work then I would say a sensor is bad.

The sensor in the 2nd gen is built into the rear axle. There is an extra harness that exits the top of the axle.

Thanks for the replies guys. Im gonna check it out next week......im gonna be gone all weekend so it will have to wait. I have a Haynes manual but it says to take it to the dealer which im not gonna do........can any of you guys tell me how to test the sensor step by step or scan in the directions and post them here. If not i understand illl try and get another manual. Thanks in advance!
