Ugh, well minus the loads of information you included I'd say yes, depending on how much dmg there is (which looks minimal) you can do most of it yourself..

How did you do this? Is it the entire thing or just one side?

jx94148 Dec 27, 2002 11:18 AM

What are we supposed to be looking at? The saggy rear end? The little scratch by the taillight?

:dunno:

UKMyers Dec 27, 2002 11:19 AM

If you talking of removing that bumper piece 4 bolts are all that holds it on. I need to do mine on that side because it's rusting where the exhaust exits. See you've got Flares.. Like em?

pinoy Dec 27, 2002 11:22 AM

Love the flares. Is the bumper supposed to sag like that?

UKMyers Dec 27, 2002 11:25 AM

That's weird it's sagged in that direction. Most are the opposite from hitting the bumper on the ground when climbing a hill. If your that concerned with it take it off and tweak the mounts a bit. If you look under there there's not much to the mounting system.

kctopher Dec 27, 2002 11:31 AM

I assumed your picture was about the bumber, the gap at the right is greater then the left (either that or it was assembled by GM or Ford)

Joey, do you think it would be just the mounting brackets that need to be reworked a little?

UKMyers Dec 27, 2002 11:37 AM

Chris ya I am sure that's all it is. I doubt the whole bumper would be tweaked but I guess it's a possibility. The factory mounts aren't much...

lowered Rice Rocket... I think it loosened my bumper while rising and falling when i pull forward.

Just grab ahold of the underside of the bumper and pull it up. That should get rid of the gap. Or drag it on some rocks.

kctopher Dec 27, 2002 11:51 AM

Does your corner jiggle? ugh, well does it appear to be loose?

Chris

pinoy Dec 27, 2002 11:57 AM

This is totally tight and on there. Not loose at all. Tried to pull it up, but i ended up pulling the whole rear end.

Jay Dec 27, 2002 12:01 PM

Loosen just the side that is tweaked and see if you can move it then. May require someone to lift while you tighten the bolts.

I thought it was time for another bout. Nuts on the left bumper vs. nuts on the right bumper.
