2nd gen OME prob... shock fouls upper bumpstop
Just got done installing my OME set up.
N98 - front N72F - rear OME 900 springs Steering stabilizer. The front shocks foul the forward upper factory bumpstop at full droop with the sway bar still connected. (in short, full droop per factory specs). For now, I have removed the bumpstop and will prolly use this as a chance to replace with energy suspension low profile pieces but anyone else have this ? I could make the factory ones fit with a little grinding of the flange but I had not read this from anyone else. I wonder if my cams on my lower control arm are all the way in for some reason ? When I get an allignment, I will be interested in how much camber I have. David |
I know you don't waste any time modding a truck  I don't have an answer, but if I can help let me know. I have some wheels for that newly lifted truck too.

you can go with the ES low profile bumpstops. That is what i ran on mine with your same setup and is common among others with this setup. i think the prt number is 9.9102 and here is a link to cebby's write up. https://www.yotatech.com/~corey/tech...tops/cebby.htm
do you plan on putting bj spacers? if so you may want to keep your stock ones on, or you will have to add washers to the es ones to raise them up. just lookin ahead. |
