Hey guys. I recently put a small journal 327 on my 88. It had a fuel injected 3.0 on it, and during the build we came across some fuel lines from the efi stuff on the firewall, one is a hard line mounted to the firewall and one is a hose on the passenger side fenderwell. I disconnected the fuel pump so I figured it was ok to just run the two together since that shouldn't do anything and won't need to be used. After driving it for a few weeks I pulled the rubber hose off of the hard line and there was pressure in the hard line. It puked a stream of fuel out about 3 inches. So it seems there is pressure building in my fuel tank. I'm guessing these were return lines of some kind. What to do with them? Any suggestions are very appreciated. Thanks

The rubber line is the return hose to the fuel tank that used to mount on the bottom of the fuel pressure regulator.
