Hello, I have a 92 long bed 4x4 with both the front and rear axles shaped out. I have a seal leaking on the front and need to know what type of axle i have so i can replace the seals. Can anyone tell me what type of axle this is? I can take measurements or other photos if you let me know what to look for. Thanks!

Got a full brace on the bottomside so it's an 84~85 PU axle.

that thing needs TRE's, basically looks like it needs a rebuild in addition to replacing a leaky seal...

Thanks for the help! What are TREs?? DO you have a kit you can point me to? Since i'm going to have it apart i want to do everything i need to. Thanks again!

EDIT: TRE's = Tie Rod Ends Got ya there. I'm a bit lost with this truck and all the modifications it has. Should i buy TREs for a 85 PU??

Can anyone point me to some resources for servicing PU drivetrain. not i'm thinking about doing the knuckles but i'm really scared of the alignment issues.

Shouldn't have to mess with anything that really aligns it.....just start removing the manual hubs and work your way in.

Wheel bearings seem to last forever....just need a cleaning and re-packing of grease usually. Might be a good idea to get a knuckle rebuild kit......and make sure you use the heavy duty Marlin Crawler inner seals....keeps the gear oil inside the inner housing and keeps your knuckle grease from getting to your ring and pinion place.

see this link for parts https://www.marlincrawler.com/axle/front-axle-parts

Looking at your pics looks like you could use new brake rotors at least.

Get a free photobucket account and you can post up pics like I do with little effort. You upload pics from your desk top(or where ever) and drag them to the upload box on photobucket and then copy/paste the image location to your replies like I did below......

I pasted the location shown above (without the dots) to get this shown below.....
