84 front diff value?
 

NLike the title state's what's the value of an 84 sold axle front diff. Think it's a 4:10. If you happen to know what the ratio is on that diff please feel free to correct me. Thanks

the gear ratio will likely be effected by the vehicle it comes out of. Not all Toyotas have the same ratio. Better figure out what ratio you have and what ratio you need. "I think its 4.10" is not good enough. You need matching ratios or you'll have major binding.

and an 88 solid axle? What part of the world do you live in? They don't have solid axle trucks or 4r after 1985 in North America unless its been imported.

Well, your title says 84, but your description says 88. Assuming you mean 84, because there wasnt a solid front axle ( in the US ) in 88. It should be a 4.10 and if its in good shape they people get $50-100 for them (around here, you didnt mention where you were located.) .

Any 8" 4.10 3rd will work, front or rear. They are all interchangeable for the most part

Assuming your talking about just the diff, and not the whole axle. Whole axles will fetch $100-500 depending on what shape its in and if all the parts are on it.

It's not for me. If my friend gets he want it's already sas. The axle I'm talking about is from a totaled 84 doner. He will be buying 2 trucks. A totaled 84 and a 88 sas Extracab.
