Trail-Gear sliders $140 shipped
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33650
i already ordered a set for my 86 runner, seems like a good guy, and can't beat the price. |
You can get them for $130 according to the feedback he's accepted those offers. Sounds too good to be true & he's got a few negatives...even though that doesn't really say much as negatives can be slung at someone over nothing & his are for reasons all over the board.
I hope you get what you paid for & not something he's knocking together in his own backyard copying the TG design. |
well considering its 135 on trail-gears website for the same thing, not that great of a deal.
|
$135 + shipping from TG, these are $140 shipped, so it is a good deal.
about 22% less than TG, i'd call that a savings |
Wow, on Jan 20th, one guy even hustled him for $120. That's cheap.

i figured for a 20% initial savings i wouldn't hustle the guy.
it cost me more to make my own for my taco. |
sounds like a great purchase

I'm considering a set too but I am concerned when compared to Stubb's.
|
My best friend is a mechanic in Lamar, CO the same place the seller is from. i'll have to ask him if he knows the guy.
|
I have these TG sliders...yes they are cheap but you get what you pay for.....HREW is not usually recommended for sliders...
mine ARE holding up quite well though suprisingly |
I figure for the mild off roading I do they should be ok and I'd be bolting them on so if I want to upgrade it'll be easier.
|
i've seen sch 40 sliders take a beating, it is not recommended for cages but bumpers and sliders it's fine.
|
Mine are holding up well. I did the bolt on also. They do not come welded at all. You have to weld the legs onto the sliders. They also do not come with gussets. It is recommended you get those as well.

I'm thinking about ordering these. Are the legs already welded on? Did you have someone weld them onto your rig? If so, how much did it cost you? Did you use gussets? wow that was a lot of questions. sorry! :eeek:
They weren't on mine, I bolted on, yes definitely use the gusset/scab plate kit! Thread about it: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f31/...nstall-100157/ |
