removing clinometer
:help:
The person that was selling the 85 4runner that i almost buyed is now parting it out. im getting the clinometer and the a/c faceplate. How do you remove the clinometer? P.S. Using a biger hammer is out of the question. |

i dont think the guy wants me completly butchering the dash. anyone know???
|
You have to remove the dashpad. There are four nuts underneath that hold the inclinometer.
|
Take the dashpad off first.
You have to remove the vent on the far right passenger side of the dash pad to get at one of the bolts. Then use a flashlight to look for the one that is hidden up under the windshield in the middle. You can reach it with a long extension. The rest of the bolts are pretty accessible, if my memory is correct. Then you can get to the bolts holding on the inclinometer. |
Buyed? ;)
