Links to Factory Service Manuals part numbers

*Mod Edit* Hey all, I cleaned this thread up a little since it expanded from FSM (Factory Service Manuals) to links for anything Toyota! A huge thank you to CyMon for starting this thread. Also I deleted some of the posts that were just chit chat so it is easier to find the links you need. Lastly I moved this to general tech since these links cover all Toyota's and not just the 85-90 specific ones. Thanks! -Molly

Great articles, experiments on K&N, deckplate mods, FIPKs, etc, and actual dyno tests to prove the data.

Hidey-ho, neighbor and anyone looking to do a lift is to ask these simple questions.
1) How much are you willing to spend
2) What type of off roading are you going to do
3) What type of driver are you
4) Is your truck a DD or trailer rig
5) Do you plan to haul stuff and how much
6) Did your wife/gf approve the purchase

Use these links below to read and understand....

CustomTaco's only piece of good info for off roaders.

That should be it...but to read, learn, listen and if possible, ride with some guys that have different systems to see how they like it and how it handles.

Good Luck!

93 FSM manual iso

Hey everyone, I hope I'm not stepping on anyones toes here, but if so please let me know.
I liked the idea of the online 93 fsm, but fear that the site may go down eventually prompted me to find a way to save it.
I copied the site to my hard drive and made an ".iso" file that you can download and burn to cd.
You should be able to right click the file after downloading it,...and burn the iso image with whatever cd / dvd burning software you have installed.
It has an "autorun" feature that should automatcally bring up the index page when the cd is inserted after burning.
Unless your pc has 'autorun' disabled, if so heres a link to explain how to re-enable it.
http://www.moonvalley.com/products/rwavdc/enable.htm

I have included a folder on the cd iso which contains Adobe Reader 8, in case it is needed on your pc to view the pdf's.
The .iso is roughly 59MB and I didn't have any space that large to host the file so I registered with a new free site that offers 2GB.
I had to use winzip to package the .iso since the file hosting space wouldn't allow hosting of .iso's. Hopefully this will work.
Heres the link to the zipped .iso:

Heres a cheesy cd jewel file made with Roxio.

ATTN: Mistake in '93 FSM....A BIG ONE!

http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b...34electron.pdf

I think for everyone that would be concerned, it should be known that on pg. AT-131 the procedure for the testing of, description of, and location of the #2 speed sensor on (atleast) the A340H transmission is incorrect.

See post #45:

I have a pretty phenominal TOY FAQ (10 MG) that I got by donating 25 bones to Pirate through The Friends Of The Rubicon. It's incredibly thourough, thoug I can't easily post it or send it (10 MB remember) And I wouldn't want to bypass the reason I got it which was by donating to FOTR on Pirate, but if ya really need it PM me and I'll see how I can get it to you...

a4runnerfreak Aug 9, 2008 10:54 PM

yahoo.com can send up to .....10MB

cableguy103 Aug 26, 2008 07:29 PM

Any FSM for a 82, even a wiring diagram would be helpful.

Lysmachia Aug 27, 2008 12:51 AM

Didja try searching? A lot of folks once they buy the online FSM will host it. :dunno:

I am sure you already looked otherwise you wouldn't be asking I guess? :D

Just to jump in and deviate from that slightly, (and going into complete cadging mode), :D if anyone does ever happen to have a digital copy of a manual which I haven't already got up on the site that they wouldn't mind sharing, I'm always looking for new additions. :)

Lysmachia Sep 4, 2008 02:32 PM

Matt I have a wonderful Toyota FAQ I got from Pirate but they ask that those who need it send $5 to a charity I think Friends of The Rubicon in CA. At any rate I would be willing to give you some teaser stuff from it and then if anyone wants the whole thing they can buy it. Would that be ok?

cbrsport17 Sep 13, 2008 03:12 AM

This will prove worthy when i am in Turkey!!! Thanks guys...

Apologies for the belated reply. I have a bad habit of becoming horrendously sidetracked. :D That would be lovely if you could. :) Hopefully, it may help to generate more donations for their cause. :)
