Not sure what your second pic is getting at, but the first pic is exactly that, the heater core hose.

the purple hoses are for the rear heater core. the green hose comes from the front heater core to the engine. i'm trying to replace all of the cooling and heater hoses on my 1990 4runner with the 3VZE engine, but i am finding that toyota no longer makes many of the heater hoses. does anyone know if cooling/heater hoses are available from the aftermarket?
