well up date got my clutch kit from Wabbit and shifter bushings today I got the tranny dropped and old clutch pulled in 4 hours.
and now for the bad my clutch was worn but not shot nor was the Toyota pressure plate the pilot bearing was missing about 5 bearings from it. in the morning I am running my flywheel to get resurfaced. then have to find a puller for the bearing. and a rear main seal then get all this new stuff back in. The one thing I should have done is ordered the bushing for the transfer case shifter at the same time it is mush also. |

I rented a bearing puller and got it out had to heat it up with a torch.
started to change the the main seal note to all who plan to do the main seal plan to do the oil pan at the same time I did not know that you have to drop the oil pan to get the main seal housing out. had the fly wheel resurfaced this morning 35$ and it looks good as new. well back to my buddys house. to get this all back together. |
