transmissioon woes r150f
I pulled trans to replace my input shaft bearing due to noise. Had a shop do the actual pressing of the replacement bearing. after i reinstalled the tranny seamed like all was going well able to go forward and back. heres where the troubles start i pull into my driveway has a decent incline and try to go back to reverse as long as i put gas into reverse works fine it wont rollback while clutch pedal is down.
I re pulled transmission and tried to spin the output shaft by hand in each gear in all gears except reverse i can spin the shaft easily by hand. Then i tried to put in neutral to spin both input and out put shafts if looking at the bell housing straight on it spins normally going clockwise feels like it starts to bind going counter clockwise. i have tried a few things removing the input bearing plate the gearbox spins fine as soon as i tighten it back it seams to bind again. |
Sounds like the new bearing was not pressed on all the way or is the wrong bearing.
