I would say with 99% of these..."I just did the timing chain and it won't start" theads, and there is a lot of them, it due to the timing being off. Double check your cam timing and then make sure your ignitin timing is correct. I bet your 180* off.

Search, there is plenty on the topic, and it will be better for you to read up on the topic and then ask your question.

the bright links are on the dimples

the crankshaft notch was at 0
the square raised bump on the camshaft was on top

the dizzy is in right

it starts right up
runs real smooth sounds good
(no coughing backfiring roughness)
but dies after 5-10 seconds

the starts right up again if l try

seems to me that the cold start injector is firing
and the rest aren't

l've triple checked that everything is plugged in

and trouble shooting pointers or thoughts would be most usefull

searching around some one with the identical problem had the injector ground disconnected

cant find any thign that tells me where that is
thoughts pics pointers?

you have the boot from the throttle body to the afm hooked up right?

goat 01-31-2012 03:31 PM

was just about to search around to learn about the afm
