The only rigs I can remember rescuing are JEEPS
haha needless to say I have been pulled by a jeep b4 too hahaha |
Only one I can remember was a Dodge extended cab long box 4x4 2500 gas what somehow dug a hole in the mud and broke his front DS. I let him hook the truck up and he had no tow points so he wrapped it around his front axle. This was with my 82. And also with chain. I know not good but everything else broke. But I jerked him out and he was happy. Nothing yet with my diesel but I'm sure it'll happen sometime soon as it is snowing again.

first time out.
racedirt1 took me to a local spot and within say 5 minutes had himself axle deep in some really thick mud. we bothe have reciever shackles so i backed up and he got out this strap. actually i think it was some sort of ratcheting tie-down. well I got him out rather easily. i was surprised because i have a V6. I just remembered reading about recovery Horror stories of 100mph flying recovery hardware. Needless too say I purchased a real strap at the local 4x4 shop.
