headlights on buzzer

1988 SR5 pickup, 433K, 2WD
I want to install or to reconnect a headlights warning buzzer. It has a buzzer for several other functions: door open with key left in ignition and seatbelts unbuckled.
I have been searching for a simple kit that might solve my problem: I have left the lights on many times, which drained the battery or prompted a phone call from one of my friendly neighbors.
Then it occurs to me that I have the buzzer already, I just needs to connect it to the headlights. I had an after-market cruise control and a CB for many years. Perhaps something got disconnected during installation or removal of those devices.
Can any of you tell me how to connect the headlights to the buzzer?? Thanks

The buzzer you hear is only for the seatbelt warning and for the "key left in the ignition" warning.

Toyota did have a separate "headlights left on" warning buzzer, but it was optional and not many of these trucks had them.

Forum member @RAD4Runner added his own headlight buzzer or chime, if I remember correctly.

I will try to find the thread.

I have gotten so used to turning off my headlights before turning off the engine that it is just an automatic thing I do.

I used a small arduino-type relay and a piezo buzzer that only buzzes when I leave headlights and the key is off and only when either door is open. You can also not tie into the door and just have the buzzer go on every time the key is off and the headlights are on. Those relays and chimes are only a few bucks on ebay.

I did this on my 85 4runner. It's very simple. I wish I had done it years ago!

I have the headlight buzzer on my 88 4Runner. I'll poke around for it today and get some pics.

I think there's a separate light reminder relay that goes above the ECU.Too complex system for such a simple purpose.
Mine doesn't have it so I made one myself here:

Ok, it's not a buzzer. It's something that beeps. It's either behind the glove box or the radio.

Thankyou very much. I will try to do this.
