front lights
hello i want to change my 1987 front parking lights to a parking light/ signal light, anyone have any ideas thanks

Its been well over a decade but I used rubber sockets like these in my corner lights to move my turn signals up when I ditched the stock bumper
https://a.co/d/ih8Wa9p I think all I did was drill the correct size hole and wire in the sockets because the stock bulbs were different but it has worked for many years. |
That's a freaking cool idea. Personally I would use dual filament sockets (like the ones used in older dual-purpose bulbs, e.g., 1157 style). Just make sure the housing has enough room and can handle the slightly higher heat output. Rubber sockets as per the previous answer is a good route too. Wire one filament to the parking light circuit and the other to the turn signal circuit and you will be good.

On my current (never ending) build I bought a set of these awesome JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) lights from www.vintageteqparts.com . I just looked and they are no longer offered from him. Maybe check eBay??? |
