Creaking/Squeaking in front left side.

I have a Creaking/Squeaking sound in my front left side of my 94 4runner. I am having a hell of a time telling what part it is coming from.

It only happens when I am turning left while going over a bump. I figure maybe the CV joint but I can't tell. Anyone have any insight on this issue?

Edit: The noise is while moving, I can also rock the front end up and down while turned left and it will do it. It doesn't happen when the tires are straight.

Have someone rock the front end up and down while you climb under it and try and pin point the noise.

Most likely the wheel stops...throw some grease on them and see if it still does it.

There are plastic caps (x4) on the steering stops, popularly called "groan stoppers." They do wear out, and you can stay ahead of the issue by just greasing the metal ends. But the caps don't cost much, and they do last longer than grease alone.

To tell if that's the problem in the first place, add some grease to see if you get an improvement.
