code 14 died while driving on highway
ok my 1995 4runner limited with the 3.0 v6 with 201k miles died while driving down the road it has had the check engine light on for the past week and it drove fine but i still took it to be checked out its code 14 ignition system... when it died I had my multimeter with me and i checked a few things the distributor coils they where 180, 153, 160 and the output of the coil when i cranked it over was 33volts. so the coils in the igniton are fine according to fsm? and the coil is outputting voltage but is that enough voltage? and what about the ignitor how do i test that it is working? any starting places from past experience?
