6-7 inch rear lift on ext cab pickup need longer driveshaft?

hey i was wondering if the driveshaft would bind with a 6 inch rear lift? if so would i have to buy shims. could you lower the carrier bearing by making some brackets? thanks.

I havent seen any problems with a 5 inch lift causing binding.

Make it a 1 piece shaft.

Thats alot of lift. Why so high?

Your problem will be length, as in too short.
It's simple Pythagorean geometry.

What size of tires are you gonna run on this thing? Sounds like youll be pushing the limits of the IFS

im going to lower the front end after lifting it so the angles wont be soo steep

got an issue. installed the 4 inch bracket lift but the front driveshaft doesnt angle low enough to hook up to the front diff. i took out the diff drop spacers and it still wont work.
