Rough idle
 

The truck runs fine while driving, but at idle it's rough until I tap the gas and it smoothes it self out.

This is what I have done.

• Checked EGR valve
• replaced BVSV valve
• 3 cans of Seafoam
• replaced o2 sensor (but need to replace again used the Bosch)

Any ideas before I go out and buy a new EGR valve?

Guessing this is a 22RE engine?

How old are your spark plug wires, cap and rotor? I had rough idle at start up on rainy wet days....a little tune up and its all good.

I did do a full tune up and in the last year I had.

new
timing chain
water pump
Oil pump

Yes it's a 22re.

can not use bosch o2 sensor? and i fixed my idle with a valve adjustment
