No change with compressed air? Did you try putting your hand over the top of the carb while revving it? It causes your engine vacuum to force suck through the carb areas, instead of through the mouth/throat of the carb. Rev it up a bit, cover the carb top, it will start to die... as its decreasing RPMs, keep pumping the linkage to keep alot of fuel coming in. Just before it dies, remove your hand from the carb top, let it rev back up a few seconds, and do it again. If it dies while doing this, floor it, crank it til it starts, then keep at it a few times...
Sometimes there may be that little bitty something in some secret passage in the carb that gets dislodged. Its worked for me several times. Worth a shot anyway. It'll only cost a buck or so in gas....
