I have an 81 toyota 4x4 and was wondering if I can just use the emission and smog equipment from my buddies 84 2wd?
will I still need all those vsv's? I dont have the egr vsv, thermo valve, hai, mc valve, vsv (ai3), vsv air bleed, restrictor jet, vsv (ai2), hac valve, vsv evap, vsv tp, vsv (ai1) or the vacuum switch.

welcome to YT.
take your truck to a smog station and ask for a courtesy inspection, that is the best way to find out the crap you need
also no need to start two threads about the same thing.
edit:
webber will only have the vacuum line to the distributor and the line for the PCV
to answer your question in your other thread--here are some parts sources:
here is a link to 1981 Toyota truck vacuum diagrams
there are 4 different ones but they are two pages each..might help you if you find that you need to put all the crap back on
