81 toyota 4x4 smog questions

I have an 81 toyota 4x4 and was wondering if I can just use the emission and smog equipment from my buddies 84 2wd?

get a webber and dont worry about it, its to much of a mess to even try

You have to go through emissions with an 81? Thats too bad.

what will the weber do? I still have to get it smogged.

a webber carb dosnt have near the jungle of hoses

will I still need all those vsv's? I dont have the egr vsv, thermo valve, hai, mc valve, vsv (ai3), vsv air bleed, restrictor jet, vsv (ai2), hac valve, vsv evap, vsv tp, vsv (ai1) or the vacuum switch.

welcome to YT.

take your truck to a smog station and ask for a courtesy inspection, that is the best way to find out the crap you need

also no need to start two threads about the same thing.

edit:
webber will only have the vacuum line to the distributor and the line for the PCV

there are 4 different ones but they are two pages each..might help you if you find that you need to put all the crap back on
