Sorry we missed it. Would have been better than doing nothing in Steamboat... hopefully that wasn't the last run. But if so look forward to wheeling with you guys next year... Happy Holidays

How hard was that trail? I still want to do it, but not in the snow. I can't imagine how cold it was up there, since it was like 35 degrees in the city.

Ric 11-27-2005 08:39 PM

i dont know Kyle, being open diffs. but then again the guy with the 85 was open and he made it, but then again, he didnt care about trail carnage. i did use the winch on myself, i got a little to close to a tree, then Eric made it it look soooo easy.

Ric 11-27-2005 08:50 PM

Mark,

You need your own main thread. "RIC'S WEEKEND WHEELIN REPORT"
 :chairfall that was great.. but yea, i do my best to get out as much as possible. i dont want to hear about your 62 we froze today, notice as it gets colder, there are less pics, lol

crappled 11-27-2005 09:30 PM

which line did you guys take. ric, coming down that hill makes you go 'weeee' lol

sorry i missed out on it, if you ever want to hit it up again, it's 10min from my home turf lol

Ric 11-27-2005 09:38 PM

i think you want to get a lift before that run, i could be wrong. im hoping Eric will post up his pics.

crappled 11-27-2005 09:48 PM

no, with a couple of helpers and some helper rocks i'm fine lol.
a tree got some green paint on her last time, not to mention alot of my underbody.

but, ya, lift > more body damage.

i always say this to myself too... this friend of a friend decided she wanted to live in CO, so she just up and moved there. i admire her courage and am jealous of her ability to do so!

i have heard she has since gotten a place by a mountain, bought a cherokee ( :pat: ) and camps, hikes and skis all the time.

jerks!

Ric 11-28-2005 07:28 AM

crappled,
i dont know, that would "very impressive" if anyone could make it all way in a stocker.

rocket,
lol, yea "chicks" dig body damage, I dont, lol

Mayhem,
i agree, it was soooo much fun, it more than made up for the cold.

lee,
tell your friend to look us up.

crappled 11-28-2005 11:01 AM

ok, then maybe we did take a diff line lol

Both Ric and I did the same thing. I have only been here for about 9 months and never looked back. I know Ric feels the same...

here's my pics. Sorry it took so long to get them up here. I had issues with where I was going to post them. http://community.webshots.com/album/513756973wLchDY

If anyone wants me to email the videos I have of that steep hill near the beginning, let me know. I have Ric making the whole thing and Chris W struggling at the bottom.
