1985 4Runner - Brake Issues

Frustration
- Brakes aren't as strong as I would think they should be and pre-pumping them doesn't help.

Symptoms
- Pumping brake pedal causes RPM to drop ~50-100rpm per pump.. pumping it fast...

With your help, I did some googling and I figured out that the bottom connector is for automatic transmissions. I have a manual so I'm in good shape. Thanks for the response!

Found this connector unplugged in my engine bay.. to be more precise, only the bottom part of the connector was unplugged.

Something that's likely not related but bothering the heck out of me.. Under my TPS is this vacuum hose that comes off the Dashpot and terminates on top of this thing. It's not sealed in anyway.....

Haha no worries. I didn't want to derail this thread, and I did some research and came to the same conclusion you did. I had the idle screw way up from all the other problems I have been chasing...

No that is a different connector that I need to figure out what it goes to. The connector that I think is the knock sensor connector, has 1 wire.
