Just wanted to respond with an update. I never really found out what that sound was. I tried to adjust the pedal free play though and it helped me get into 2nd easier, which is nice... A few weeks...

Thanks for mentioning that. I'm going to take a look at that today. Do I have to unbolt the clutch master cylinder from the firewall to do that?

If anyone's still reading this sticky, I know used upper control arms aren't difficult to find. My question is are there any non-aftermarket UCLs that will do the same job as the Fabtech ones?
