Hey my name is Matt and I am a new member to Yotatech. I have a 1994 Pickup and I just installed a Rough Country 4'' suspension lift and am running 33x12.50's. The only problem about the lift is it seems to make for a rougher ride and I think the rear blocks have a lot to do with that. Can i do your ''zuk mod" and replace my 4'' rear blocks with some black magic coil springs so that my ride quality will be better? I would want to remain close to the same height as the blocks but with coil springs instead. Please message me back and let me know thanks!

Hi, I purchased a set of your welded plates for the mod back in oct/nov and have yet to put them in. I was wondering if you knew of the size of the u-bolts. My rubber bump stops are non existent and I was planning on putting the plates where the bump stops go. (I may have to have someone weld additional height to the cylinder part to clear the u-bolts.) I am not sure if i will need new ones, but I would like to have some around in case I need to replace them. Thanks.

Zuk! I am interested in "ZUK Coil Modding" my beater 2000 Tundra ex-cab. Another member mentioned you having an acquaintance who did this on their 1st gen Tundra and netted about 3-4" of lift, but was not told of what type of coils to use. The front has 2" spacers, and I want to to get more of a somewhat factory looking rack, but keep the front lift, so maybe 2-3". Not to mention the rear leafs are pretty warn.
So, what type (length/load) would you recommend? I dont haul or tow a whole lot. Usually just help people move their furniture or what not. Thanks, Zuk!

    Mr Zuk,
Thanks for pioneering the helper spring mod! Did mine this weekend. It's a no-weld method:
    Used 12-inch, 125-pound springs,
Cut bumpstop down to 3/4 inch, 1/4-20 capture bolts.
    No rake!
    Write-up here

Also Toyotech- The 88 Runner with the 3.0 and auto with 529 gears had plenty of get up go. Mine seems to run very good.....these reports that the 3.slow is slow baffle me a little. Mine was quick....I also left my top off...maybe that helped.

Sorry guys but have not been very good about checking these visitor messages....I get more than enough regular gmail and private messages to keep me busy

    vang--the play is normal.

toyotech- It runs great. Actually it runs at almost the same rpms as my other project that I sold....I had an 87 Runner with a 22RE and auto....so you are thinking that was probably a dog Well, I changed the 430 gears to 571 and a Detroit in the rear. Wow....nice difference afterwards. Good getaway from the lights and plenty of low end grunt on the trail. My gears did not break but how could they? The thing was a 4 cyl with a very forgiving auto....no big torque spikes that a manual tranny can shock the drivetrain with.
Anyways, I was getting about 3400 rpm at a real gps 75 mph on the highway....65 mph was very comfortable at under 3000 rpm.
