Thanks, Wyoming. still learning how to use this site! Reply to your info RE: 'Rebulid' lo compression issue.Had it rebuilt by 1 man shop, was referr NOT good choice... Guy had lang problems(spoke spanish), cussed if I asked questions. Not sure did a rebuild before! Got it back, & had broken transmission cable in the take out or?
Wouldn't go into 3rd gear. +Lots of other problems; Throttle position sensor, broken cable, etc. Back w/MY trusted mechanic & transmission guy, for THREE months. Originally, drove fine, 75,000 miles, 1st Tune-up: 170 comp. took short trip (400 miles)was shocked to see used 2 qts oil no leak, so guess it burned it. Bad advice, huh? to get the Great Engine rebuilt! Everyone says,Timing/ not getting enough power. Could be a tooth got moved on the Cam chain?, Throttle pos. sensor & throttle brand new now. Coach is 'Sweet'- extremely well taken care of, clean & cozy. New computer, maybe. Ideas, ANYONE? Does it take mor 1,000 miles for new rings to seat? T.

Hey, Wyoming....you still have a plow on yours?? I'm trying to figure out the plates on my '93...going to have to mod them (steering gear gets in the way big time). Guy told me they were from an '88 and should fit, but...maybe it's my IFS? Anyway, if there's a chance you could link to a pic of proper push plates for my truck, I'd totally appreciate it!! Thanks, if you can help out! I am totally at a standstill with this, just not seeing what to cut up/destroy, ha ha...

    Hey,

Ive got a quick question for you, regarding a reply you wrote for my thread 'more charging issues' (https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f131...issues-241220/). The issue Im seeing is still very much present and Im stuck wondering what to do next. You mentioned updating my ground cables and the positive cable to the starter. Now I checked the ground cable from the alternator (in good shape), but I havent changed the ground of positive from the battery. If youve got a second, any input would be great, Im just confused as to how this could help my alternator issues.

    Thanks again!
