Hi Terry my name is Brenda I have read some of ur forums and love the pics. By any chance are u interested in selling the white one. I have a 82 Toyota I have built up as a speed pit truck and looking for another to set up for bogging.

We are fine.They did as for voulunteers for state duty. The wife just got an operation so I wasnt able to go. My dad lives in Cassville and his house is fine. Looks like it did some damamge.

I will try and get to a car lot and get the paint code I am looking for. I go to the car lots and they always try to sell me something. Guess they see me in my flat bed and think I need a new truck. I have had new in the past and the payments get old.

When I painted my 88 runner, I was looking at the color on a Cadillac, the salesman couldnt believe I was just intrested in the color.

I enjoy spending the time helping others. My little way of giving back for what Yotatech has done for me.

I will try and put some good info up on my build. I still get alot of compliments on my 88 build thread. I plan on starting some more bodywork and dashwork soon.

i am going to start a build thread for my truck this weekend but it wont be a frame up build like yours is were are you looking at the paint at i like the way the truck looks on page one of 83 build/restore and was wanting that color to paint my 83 yota 4wd short bed that is going to be my daily driver thanks for your time

This is my next project, an 88 4Runner, 22re, 5 speed. I picked it up for $500. The previous owner had the gas tank out saying the fuel tank and pump were rusted up and it sat for 2 years after that. I got this from the original owner, but the son got a hold of it and that is when it went downhill from there.

I plan on having it running and painted by summers end. I dont know the condition of this motor but I do have 2 other motors and I plan on rebuilding one of them anyways. I want it running good and looking good when finished. This is more of a hobby and a way to relax. I have the parts from an 86 4Runner and the ability to do the work myself so this should keep cost down. I am hoping to get a shop built soon and that will definitely speed things up.

go ahead and post it in the thread! that's a good idea! better than some i've heard, and cheaper than going to a machine shop to have some block-off plates made lol.

yea, i removed the EGR on my '86 22R (carb'd) and i definitely noticed an increase in throttle response, power, and mileage!
