Read your post about the knock sensors. Thanks for posting it, I learned a lot. I noticed how you said you had all this new power. Aside from the CEL did you notice lack of power, sounds etc? I through the P0330 bank 2 code. I have a terrible hissing noise above 2300 rpms. Was your truck doing anything like this? All info is greatly appreciated, this is driving me crazy! Thanks

Midiwall: you posted very useful information about reading ABS codes. We followed your procedure and got code 34 for a Toyota 4Runner. Can you tell me how I can find out what it means and how to fix?

I saw elsewhere that it means: "Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Malfunction." I also saw that I could swap the sensor with the left front and see if the code changes; that way I could know if the sensor is bad.

We recently replaced the left rear axle seal. I read on another forum that if the machine shop put the bearings and ABS ring on improperly, the ABS light will come on.

Finally, I know that I can pay $15 to use the Toyota Technical Information System and access the FSM. Would that give me all the info I need?

Any insight you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there, gotta question regarding supra maf install. Just installed it on my 98 4runner. It will not idle....rpms all over the place, shakes then dies. Almost acts as thought the wires are not plugged in at all....hardly get a chance to look at my fuel maps to see how/where to make an adjustment. Does it sound like eventhough I have a 98, I may need to change some of the pins around?
