can you help me on my 95 4runner? i started it up and let it warm up for about 5 mins, left my friends house and only got a block away whe it just randomly died. it still cranks over but no start?

I was reading some old posts you made regarding the OEM Toyota NAV unit and your 02 4Runner. According to oemvalue.com, they say an external amp. is needed if you dont have the JBL audio system. Being that there was no JBL option in 02, is an external amp really needed, or do I truly only need the nav head unit and the rest is plug and play?
