I have to ask, did you ever find an upgrade for the stock fan? I have an 86 pickup and the fan doesn't move enough air to successfully battle the 115+ temps in Phoenix Az. It blows pretty cool given the outside temp and old components. (aside from compressor and drier) ... Also, my ac clutch won't work on it's own, I had to add a MacGuyver switch.
