Drive's just fine on the street. I've had the lockright in this rear end for just over a year, don't mind it. The front has manual hubs so the auto locker is a non concern until I hit dirt with the hubs locked..

yeah it is that one. i used the fluid hose manifold and screwed the sending unit into that but that manifold costs like $60. i'm sure the weld in boss is much cheaper.

it is just the temp gauge in a mounting cup, i do not have the sending unit but you can get one on summit. you drill a hole in your tranny pan and the sending unit goes up in there or you can get a hose manifold for the out going tranny line but that is more work. yeah if your wife wants to pick it up at 3:30-4 thats fine,

Hey bud, first off, i HIGHLY agree with your decision to go with the manual swap!! i love mine. I'm not even going to lie, the are a bit high. at 55 i was at about 2900 RPM, it is pretty high. I usually cruised everywhere at that speed and got around 18-20 mpg. I recently moved up to a 35" tire for the road and it is much better. Keep the questions coming if you need answers!

    You're Welcome

i live near san diego and i took my cams to their shop and had a custom regrind done. they used to do 3vze cams but they stopped due to lack of sales, you can call them and ask about a custom regrind. they will want to do a durration of 264, but ask for 272. i did the 264 and i probably would have gotten more power out of a 272. make sure if you buy cams to do a valve adjustment and be prepared for thicker shims because crower always cuts the base circles too small creating a steeper lobe.
