Hi there. Hope you're ok with me messaging you but I saw that you took the time to answer a number of questions here.


Anyway, 03 Tacoma. Manual, 6 speed V6. It's shifter is able to rotate. I've taken the trim and boot off the shifter and it's not anything obvious, the actual gear shifter going into the bell housing for the transmission rotates. When rotated, it's impossible to change gears, etc.

Any suggestions? I've yet to take the 4x bolts off that secure the metal cap on top of your transmission into which the shifter is seated. I'd love to know your thoughts.
