Good evening, I found your write up on the 99+ headlights, and picked up some housings. I have one with a broken grill mount tab so I was hoping you still had a write up for how to change out the buckets since my originals are good.

A million thanks I'm advance, your write up with great. I think I also followed your tundra brake mod a few years ago. Amazing mod!

Great write ups on here. Enjoyed reading them. Quick question. I am in the process of installing power leather seats in my 4runner and am replacing manual cloth seats. Can you verify for me which wire is the power wire for the seats? I reread your DIY and you reference the j12 connector which I was unable to get. Other than try and track down this connector I just want to wire the seats directly to a 30amp source. I don't have the fsm to know wire colors. Thank you for any help!

Absolutely, you can just get the lenses and then take apart your old headlights. I believe I mentioned that in my thread on my replacement. Just keep track of how many turns it takes for each bolt. when you get done it should be pretty easy to then just pop the new housing and lense right back in the same spot. the parts are identical so not to worry. If you can save some bucks getting just the lenses, it will just depend on how much you will save. In my case I found the lenses and the housing on one was damaged so I used the one in my truck to replace the damaged one. Let me know how it works for you

Quick question about doing a headlight swap on a '98 4Runner (replacing the originals with '99-'02 lamps), do you know if the '99-'02 lens and housing would fit into the original '98 buckets? I don't want to be spending an extra $200 on this install if I don't have to since the original buckets work just fine. Thanks!!!
