Cool. Sounds like we share some interests. I have 7 acres of semi-remote property on the Yukon River, and recently purchased a sawmill to aid in building a home there. RE toyota, I've been driving a 1st gen 4x4, as my daily driver, since I was 17. I am on my 5th, currently owning 4 that are fully functional. Though now that I have a 10 month daughter I am beginning to search for a 1st gen 4runner. (We all still fit in the pick-up but its pretty cozy). Would love to make a trip to the states one day to find a nice example!
I'm a retired Fireman. Live in the Northern Sierra of California. When I'm not fiddling with my '73 FJ40 built for the Rubicon, or my 1987 BJ70 from Canada which is my DD, or replacing the 34 year old parts in my '82 Toy 4x4 PU, I'm busy messing with my 10 acres of timber, flyfishing, or hunting.
Hi lledwod,
Basfire (Bruce) here. What do you do in Dawson City? Been there once back in '77 driving the Alcan in my '71 FJ40 when the entire route was still dirt. Brings back some cool memories.
