    i would go with a little cobra 19 its small and real basic user friendly and its only about 20 or 30 bucks at walmart. and is good for about 3 miles depending on where you locate the antenna the best place is on the roof of the truck. but its not the best place if your going to be wheelin in the woods with that said your front or rear bumber is just fine and will keep it down low less chance of braking off here is some links to get you started
