Folks,I have a 2000, 95 series Prado with a 3.4 litre 5VZ-FE engine.

I suspect that she is not shifting into 4th gear or Overdrive.

Can anyone just let me know, what is the engine RPM when coasting at 100 kmph in their 4runners.

I am aware that the final drive ratios may not be the same. But I need some yard stick.

When driving (not coasting) at a steady 105 kph (65 mph) I'm at 2200 rpm with Overdrive on and 3000 with it off.
I have a 4.56 axle on 265/70-16 tires.

 

1,900 rpm O/D on and 2,700 rpm O/D off.

4.11 gearing & 265/75/16 tires.
