Hi everyone, I recently took a running engine from a wrecked 90 4 runner with an auto transmission and put it into an 92 4 runner with a manual transmission. I have spark, compression, and fuel but can't get the engine to run. I'm wondering if I maybe have a computer issue. Does swapping engines between an auto tranny and a manual tranny cause a problem? Thanks!

no you should have used only the engine from the donor. everything else from your car

 

Ok, thanks guys! I didn't think that should be an issue, but when I took the car to a mechanic because I couldn't get it to run that's what they came up with.
