I have made myself a replica shifter boot out of black 20-year guarantee upholstery fabric. It is like upholstery vinyl but is actually made out of Polyurethane. I can make one for you for $25 out of that material, or $35 for genuine leather. Mine was crumbling apart so I stripped it down into individual panels and replicated the pattern and made myself one. I make bags and do upholstery jobs in my small studio as a part time business, so it was just a matter of needing to do it. I'm not sure what years besides my '82 4wd have this type of shift boot, but if you send me a different shape of shifter boot made in this style, I can replicate it as long as it's mostly intact.
