1980 Longbed Pickup - Colorado - $3800
1980 4spd Longbed, Blue with a Black and Blue interior. This Truck has AC stock! 135k Miles. Runs great, always starts, and gets 16/22 mpg. Passes emissions flawlessly. I've used this as a DD a couple times per week.
I’ve owned this truck for about 4 years. Before me, the second owner only had it for a few months, and he purchased it from the original owner. This was an eastern Colorado farm truck for all it’s life, and got most of it’s use on the farm. It sat for half a decade or more before I got it up and running.
Truck is located in Northern Colorado, and I have a truck box and topper than can be included with the sale.
I'll get some better pictures tomorrow..

This pickup is well on it’s way, and has had a ton of work done.

In the last 5,000 or so miles, I’ve replaced the following:
Front Axle:
Donor ‘81, completely rebuilt aside from third member
‘81 Landcrusier Rotors
‘96 4Runner V6 calipers
Stainless Brake Lines
Original 4.10 gearing
Trail Gear front axle rebuild kit, race/bearings, gaskets, rock rings, hub nuts, etc
Repacked knuckels and birfields, packed bearings moly fortified
Front Suspension:
New Old Man Emu 2” lift springs in the front
NewSpring Bushings
Trailmaster SSV shocks
Steering:
Complete Stock Power Steering setup from an ‘80 SR5; gear, reservoir, cooler, lines, pulley, etc
New Tie Rod Ends
New PS Pump
Steering Stabilizer
Flush and fill a few times
Alignment
Rear Axle:
New Drums
New Shoes
Drum Kits
Fluid Flush and Fill
Motor:
Valve Adjustment
Valve Cover Gasket
Fuel Pump
Fuel Filter
Weber 38 Carb, high altitude jet kit
Weber/Stock Air Cleaner adapter
Custom PCV/EGR/Carb vaccum line
Spark Plugs
Timing Adjustment
New Battery
All new vaccum lines
New lower Radiator Hose
Interior:
Upgraded to SR5 dash with Tach, exact same mileage
All new bulbs, upgraded to Red, some LED
Coverlay dash cover, brand new uninstalled yet
‘91 Prelude Seats
‘97 Prelude Seatbelts
New Turn Signal Assembly, from ‘81 with intermittent wiper switch
New Windshield and Gasket
Exterior:
Most surface rust has been removed, 3 strips of cancer in bed isolated
ZERO bondo in cab and bed, dents left intact
Tailgate stripped and patched, bondo was used in tailgate to skim coat
new front parking lamps
It’s still a project truck, and needs the following:
- Either a clutch kit and shifter work, or upgrade to L52 5-spd
- Engine has some seeping, possibly timing cover
- Steering gear is used
- rear springs and shocks are still stock, planned to get OME and SSVs for rear as well
- 3 strips of rust in the bed
- driverside and passenger side footwells need some rust repair
The rest of the body and frame are in great shape, and free of cancer.
